Mark’s presentation of SF conversations working at three levels (derived from the latest in SF micro-analysis research) is a great way to see how the simplicity of description-building works to help the client ‘stretch their world’ for new opportunities and progress  – big questions, description-building small questions, and micro-responses.

What is happening in the brain during a solution focused conversation? - Dr. Rachel Gilibrand

Rachel's session presented research evidence using EEG to monitor what happens in the brain during a solution focused conversation, based on Rachel’s work with Dr Adam Froerer and Mia Lunde

Knowing how the brain responds to solution focused conversations will strengthen our understanding of this language-based therapy. The evidence collected will demonstrate how important it is to use solution focused questions in conversation and provide scientific evidence to back up our work.

Change doesn't occur in vacuum - relational improvisation practices bring a creative collaborative approach to our practice.

This experiential workshop introduced ideas for playfulness and creativity that that will fit with within existing solution focused practice.  The specific aspects of ‘accept and build’ will be of value when facing feelings of stuckness.

 

 

Best Year Ever - Andrew Gibson

 

Delegates participated in a Solution Focused Group Coaching workshop that has broad application in Organisations and that uses Numberless Scaling to develop a Coherent Vision, Current Strengths, and Next Steps Action Plan, s well as experiencing this first hand on the theme of "Your Best Year Ever", explanation and practical toolkit will be provided.

 

This skills workshop helps delegates facilitate change in their own and their client's lives and organisations.

From Climate Anxiety to Climate Agency: A Solution-Focused Approach to the Climate Emergency - Guy Shennan, Carolyn Emanuel, Helen William

Participants were provided with an experience of a Solution-Focused climate cafe, and this will assist them in getting them moving about the issue of climate change, or maintaining or developing movement already underway. Participants who want to run their own climate cafe will feel equipped to do so after this workshop.
