John Brooker and Sonali Kumarakulasinghe

 

 

Facilitating Better Group (and individual?) Decisions

 

John Brooker is a solution-focused facilitator, trainer and coach working with organisations. He has been using the SF approach since 2004. He has worked with teams across Europe and Asia, finding ways to include SF in many disciplines.   He is a co-founder of Solution Focus in Organisations and a co-editor of SFiO's "The InterAction Collection", which provides online, 16 years of case studies and applications of SF use in organisations. (www.sfio.org). He is married with two children and a feisty cat.

Sonali Kumarakulasinghe is a Facilitator, Coach and Mentor, supporting leaders and teams to generate sustainable culture change through better conversations at work.  She works with a diverse set of clients in sectors including corporate, SME and not-for-profit organisations. 


Sonali supports new and established teams to co-create behaviours, rituals and actions to make progress towards their desired outcomes. Her facilitation style is informal, focused and appreciative and she has used Decision Circle to facilitate team decision making.

Sonali has an MSc in Organisational Behaviour (Psychology) and the BRIEF Certificate in Solution Focused Practice. 

 

 

 

 

We have developed a Solution-focused decision-making tool - the Decision Circle - and have been using it with organisations. In this session we will introduce you to the Decision Circle by having you try it out and talk about our experience in organisations. 

 

Participants can expect to gain an understanding of how to improve group decision making A template to use with teams, and possibly with individuals.
