This will be an interactive session where participants will be introduced to the ASPIRE model and our brand new card deck - the ASPIRE Culture Cards.  Inspired by positive psychology and wellbeing research, the ASPIRE model focuses on six principles of flourishing cultures – Agency, Safety, Positivity, Inclusion, Respect and Equality.

Designed to facilitate conversation and action around building communities and workplaces where people can thrive, the ASPIRE Culture Cards are a very flexible tool to use in a variety of different ways.   Participants will be able to get hands-on with the cards and experiment with different ways of using them in small groups.  There will even be the opportunity to get creative and explore possible ways to use the cards and to give us feedback on how to make them even better!   We will also take the time to briefly look at the research behind the model and to discuss what makes the ASPIRE approach so effective.

By attending this session, delegates will get first-hand experience of how a deck of cards can be used to unlock conversations around thriving cultures.   The interactive nature of the session will mean there is plenty of opportunity to learn from each others' expertise and experience - both in terms of how to facilitate conversations around culture and also how to build thriving cultures in practice.   Participants will get to try out a number of different activities and explore a research-led model of flourishing which they can use to inform their own work.
