Stephan Natynczuk

Broader influences on SF practice, indoors and outdoors

Stephan is a self-employed SF practitioner and minor academic. Training and supervision compliment his SF practice, which is mostly outdoors, frequently involving adventure, and with youth who “don’t read good and want to do other things good too”. Stephan is co-author of Solution Focused Practice Outdoors: Co-adventuring for Change and has written a few papers on using SF outdoors.

When training, I include a section entitled “What’s already out there that supports SF practice?” In this workshop I would like to share insights and influences, which answer the question of how do I know SF practice is a useful approach to bringing about change?

Participants can hope to gain a broad insight to helpful contributions from subjects as diverse as philosophy, statistics, theory of change, fossil hunting, and exploring caves.
